My daughter has injured her ankle and her doctor has her wearing an orthopedic "boot". We will fly in/out of IND-LGA this weekend, and it's going to be a lot of walking to gates, etc. Is it possible to get a wheelchair or cart transport for her to use at these airports? Do we need to ask ahead of time? If so, do we contact the airlines or the airport directly? Also, will she have to take off this boot at the scanners?

My carpet in the bedrooms and hallway is the original carpet (16 years old). it is a plush or cut pile. My husband is a quadriplegic in a motorized wheelchair. He is very tough on all types of floors. We have burber in the living room and dining room and it seems to wear well. I would like to try frieze. He tends to mash and twist the carpet, especially when turning into a doorway. Will the frieze mat down quickly?

I'm going to Disneyland soon with 8 other family members. One of my family members is in a wheelchair. I was wondering how the wheelchair pass worked and how the wheel chair lines worked. I was also wondering how many people, if any, were permitted to go into the wheelchair line with them. I know at some other amusement parks the entire party was allowed to use the wheelchair line but I haven't been to Disneyland with a wheelchair before and wanted to figure it out before I went. I am looking for some spectacular vacation spots to travel to but I always run into the problem that I am in a wheelchair and all the places I am interested in are not wheelchair accessible. So does anyone know where I can go on vacation and still have some awesome views of mountains or lakes and have a good time?

I`m buying a new home but i`m bound on a wheelchair do to a car accident some times ago, and i would like to know before i sign anything and before i ask them and they will say , NO , u have to pay extra if there is a law that states that they have to make the home accessible for wheelchair access at no extra cost to me compare to the price of the house configuration ?
